Deadswitch II updates

Posted by WilkinGames - May 22nd, 2012

As you may know, I've been working on Deadswitch II, which will be the sequel to the first Deadswitch game. It will have a lot of new features, specifically ones that a few people suggested (such as a campaign, etc.).

If you're interested in the updates, check out the Facebook page by clicking here!

Neat

I suggests to add an vechicles to control... Like a motor boat with machine gun? :)
Or army humvee ;D and a tank or APC truck *Armored heavy truck to transport soldiers*
Us can see APC truck in MGS4 :P (If someone have)

I've already added the M1 ABRAMS tank, and I plan on adding a Humvee as well. I never thought about boats. Cool idea! :-)

Hey,will you add more melee weapons in the game?(Other than the crowbar),if you do?,mind adding a Machete?

hello there! i dont know if you remember me but i had once written a couple of suggestions and comments before for deadswitch 2, i just recently came up with a couple of ideas and comments.

for comments i wanted to say it seemes to me you ave done a fantastic job on deadswitch 2, i went and saw your post on facebook, and saw all the weapons and i have to say im super stoked to try out that awesome array of intense weaponry!!! and also i think your idea to split it into two, (one campaign, the other arenas and such) is an incredible idea, this way both games, arena and campaign, will run smoothly and not get slowed or stopped.

Ok, on to suggestions, I saw how you said there will be ground vehicles to drive, but what about air vehicles? perhaps something along the lines of a helicopter? i saw the helicopters in the first game and i just wanted to fly them so bad!!! Also i was wondering, have you thought about being able to control friendly troops in survival mode? I personally think that would be amazing, because when you called in a friendly group of soldiers they followed you, but if you wanted to set up sort of an F.O.B. type thing? where you could have troops standing gaurd while you run back and call in a ammo care package? i personally think this would be able to open alot more options in different game types, and also whole new modes and Campaign!!!

Tell me what you think of these ideas, thank you yet again!

Sincerely, Phantom87k

Here are some suggestions for Deadswitch 2

In the next Deadswitch you should make these additions/changes---

>FEATURES<

- The ability to crouch would make it easier to hide behind cover.
- Instead of using xp to get Reward Points, you should be able to level up, which could: unlock weapons, abilities (e.g. sprint, invincibility, etc.), costumes/outfits, maps, etc.
- More weapons.
- The screen seemed a little bit too zoomed out, just a little though.
- A campaign, and once you beat it you can unlock the Rebel campaign.
- Ragdoll deaths for the soldiers if you can, this is not a must but would be nice.
- Empty barrels or crates that have physics ( like when you shoot or run into them )
- More melee weapons.
- Blood and gore.
- I know war and death etc. etc. is supposed to be gritty, but you should add a touch of color in Deadswitch 2.
- Destructible environment.
- Less difficult A.I. The A.I. never missed a single shot, maybe that's just me though.
- Last but not least, the ability to pistol whip people, or butt them with the stock of a rifle.

Those are all of my suggestions and I can't wait for Deadswitch 2. Hope to see at least some of my suggestions in the game. ;)

"bluegil3" took the ideas right out of my head! I would, however, add a wider range of weapons and/or make them have specific characteristics. Like in BF3. The first one was truly epic and I can only imagine that the new (2D) Deadswitch II will essentially be the flash counterpart. Seriously, seriously good game. On the edge of my seat waiting for two.

P.S. - Please, please, please don't take the BF3 comments negatively because you, as well as any other FPS fanatic, know that BF3 has set the bar this time and I believe they maybe continue to. Just my... well it's more than 2 cents, but yeah. lol Best to you and yours!!

So there will be driveable vehicles in Deadswitch 2 and campaign or just campaign or just deadswitch 2 itself?
